SunEnergy Advantages

Utility prices are on the rise. Solar allows you to rely less on the grid, and provide savings on utility costs. Even during cloudy conditions, solar arrays can generate enough power for your home, and even generate extra electricity you can sell back to the utility grid, in a process known as net metering.

Solar installations are eligible for a Federal Tax Credit. The credit allows you to deduct 26% of the cost of your solar system from your federal tax's. The credit of 26% is available until 12/31/2022. In 2023, the tax credit will be reduced to 22%, and remain in effect until 12/31/2023.

Installing solar power in your home not only saves on utility bills, but it can also increase the value of your home by an average of 4.1%.

Solar power is 100% clean and renewable energy. For every 10KW of solar installed, its the equivalent of plating five acres of trees, or taking three cars off the road for 25 years.

Our solar systems are built with batteries to provide backup power in the event of power outages. A critical load panel is built in to power your critical appliances to provide longer battery power for you and your family.

Net metering is an interconnection between customers who generate their own electricity via solar panels and their utility company. When customers generate extra electricity, that electricity can flow back to the utilities distribution system to earn credit, creating even further savings. An advanced meter is installed at the property to measure the flow of electricity in both directions. The meter runs backwards when extra electricity is being produced. You are still connected to the grid and can draw power from the grid like normal, when you are not producing enough power on your own.

Utility prices have increased over the past decades and are expected to continue to do so. Grid power will also become less dependable with expected increases in power shortages. Installing solar allows you to rely less on the grid and be more independent when it comes to powering your home.
